Who Premium is for

Free covers the classic one-and-done job: grab an address, catch a verification code, walk away. Premium exists for the cases where a throwaway inbox is not quite enough but a real inbox is too much.

Connecting a domain takes a couple of DNS records — the custom domain temp mail guide walks through the exact setup. Billing is handled by Stripe and you can cancel anytime from the customer portal.

Pricing questions

Can I cancel Premium anytime?

Yes. Premium is a recurring Stripe subscription you can cancel anytime from the customer portal. You keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for; there are no refunds for partial billing periods except where the law requires one.

Is there a free trial?

The free tier is the trial. Every visitor gets a working disposable inbox with real-time delivery, no signup and no card — so you can test exactly how TempMaily handles verification mail before paying anything.

What does “dedicated premium domains” mean?

Domains reserved for paying users only. Shared free domains are public, so signup services blocklist them quickly. Dedicated domains have far less exposure, which makes addresses on them much more likely to be accepted.

How does connecting my own custom domain work?

You add the domain in your dashboard, get two nameservers, and set them at your registrar. Mail routing (MX and SPF) is configured automatically — there are no records to copy by hand. Because the domain is yours alone, it appears on no disposable-email blocklist. The custom domain guide walks through each step.

What happens to the free inbox I'm using now?

Nothing — the free tool stays free. Free inboxes are anonymous and self-delete 24 hours after creation. Premium addresses live in your account instead: they can be long-term or permanent, and you can run up to 10 at the same time.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free inbox — it works with no signup at all. Premium needs an account, because custom domains, dedicated addresses, and billing have to belong to someone.

Is API and MCP access included?

Yes — Premium includes the developer REST API and the MCP server, so test suites and AI agents can create inboxes and read verification mail programmatically. The API docs cover authentication, rate limits, and endpoints.

How is payment handled?

Billing runs through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored on TempMaily servers. Plans are $9.90/month or $90/year (about two months free).

Full billing terms are in the terms of service.
